The photos above right and left are from a meeting with our scholarship
students in February, 2007, where we passed out their bi-monthly
transportation money.  The photo to the left is of some of the students who
received scholarships school year 2006/2007.

"International Community Foundation from San Diego, with whom FANLAP has
been affiliated since 2001, organized a conference with various
organizations like us who give scholarships to students in junior and
senior high school. In connection with that conference, we had lunch at
the comedor, and several of "our students" talked of their view of our
program and how it has helped them prepare for a career. One of the
things they stated is that they all want to have a "better life" than
their parents, and because of our help they will be able to succeed."
